As a division of the CIG Group, Ostseestaal is a leader in the field of shipbuilding. Our core competencies are the design and manufacturing of vessel linings. In other words, complex spatial bending sheet material. Our skill has also been applied to the manufacturing of high-pressure vessels.
With our participation, a 42,000-cubic metre capacity gas reservoir was successfully built at the Portovaya LNG Terminal. This project gave us the idea that our products and solutions can see demand in Russia, so 2018 was the first time we exhibited at MIOGE.
We didn’t have very high hopes at first. It was important for us to understand the Russian market’s potential and opportunities, to identify potential customers, and understand our needs. We achieved our exhibition goals, thanks to the visitors who came to our stand, and by attending the MIOGE Technical Programme events.
MIOGE’s flawless organisation allowed us to get the most complete picture of the issues we are interested in, understand where our potential customers are, and how best get the contacts we need.
We’d also like to thank the technical team who built our stand. All issues were resolved quickly and competently.
